Lokapala’s official Instagram account explains that the game reset will be done today (05/21/2020) as a sign of the end of the Open Beta.
For information, Lokapala is actually already available on the Play Store and can be played since early February.
But unfortunately, at that time only a Beta version was available so that players were still constrained by many bugs and system errors in the game.
After waiting for more than 3 months, the Lokapala MOBA players, or often called the Ksatriya, were finally able to taste the stable version on May 20, 2020.
The end of the Beta version also made Anantarupa Studios as the developer have to reset the game.
“We also need to inform you that Battle Statistics (win rate and match count) will be reset to indicate the end of the Open Beta period. Reset will be done May 21, 2020, at 24:00 at night,” wrote a statement on the official Lokapala game account (@lokapala_moba).
The stable version of the Lokapala Game was officially released after the Grand Launch event on the Lokapala MOBA YouTube channel on Wednesday (05/21/2020).
The Lokapala Grand Launch also presented remarks from the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Trade, Jerry Sambuaga and the Director General of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture Hilmar Farid.
Coinciding with National Awakening Day on May 20, 2020, Jerry Sambuaga claimed to be proud to be the historic witness of the launch of the first MOBA game made in Indonesia.
“On the day that coincided with National Awakening Day, some of our friends, the children of our nation, succeeded in proving that they have a passion in producing work. We are here as a historic witness in the launch of the game titled Lokapala developed by Anantarupa. Lokapala is the first eSports game and 100 percent made in Indonesia, “said Jerry Sambuaga.
For information, the Lokapala game is the first MOBA made in Indonesia which was directed by Ananantarupa Studios as the developer and the World Games as a publisher.
When asked about the reason for the MOBA genre created by Ananantarupa Studios, the COO (Chief Operating Officer) named Diana Paskarina explained that the MOBA still had high fans.
“Actually, our developers have big dreams, because we see the potential of this game is very large. And we ourselves, our teams are average game players. But until now there are still very few local games that are able to compete with foreign games. Why do we choose MOBA, because this is eSports. Right now eSports is very high again.
