Massive Test in Industrial Estates

Detiktoday.com – The West Java COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force prepares 1,000-2,000 swab tests using the PCR method for tracking in industrial clusters in Bekasi Regency.

Head of the Contact Tracking, Mass Testing, and Laboratory Management Division of the West Java COVID-19 Task Force for Accelerating Countermeasures Siska Gerfianti said, identifying industrial clusters while preventing the spread of COVID-19.

“Because there is an increase in cases from the Bekasi Regency, the West Java Provincial Task Force in cooperation with the Bekasi Regency Task Force and Bekasi District Health Office dropped (a massive test title) together today,” Siska said in the Kancil Housing Area, Kab. Massive tests in the industrial district of Kab. Bekasi was held in four locations. “Today, whoever wishes to be inspected according to the results of the tracing, we will check,” Siska said.

Siska stated, if there were positive confirmed residents, it would follow up according to health procedures.

According to Siska, other than as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, massive testing will get a comprehensive map of COVID-19 distribution, limit SARS-CoV-2 motion space, track contacts exposed to COVID-19, and detect the presence of viruses. Therefore, he asked the public not to be afraid of taking swab tests.

“Because this is a form that the West Java provincial government together with the Bekasi Regency government is very fond and care for its citizens. We are testing you because we care,” he said.

Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) Department of Health District. Bekasi Irfan said, a massive test was held as an early detection.

“We take care of it. If we find the case in the beginning, this will make it easier for us to carry out treatment,” said Irfan.
