Kasetpres: We Continue to Tighten Health Protocols
Detiktoday.com – The Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono said that the Presidential Secretariat would continue to tighten the health protocol even though previously the health protocol applied in the Presidential Palace was already very strict. This was conveyed by Kasetpres in his statement at the Office of the Presidential Secretariat, Jakarta, on Monday, August 3, 2020.
“We at the Presidential Secretariat continue to tighten the health protocol even though until today we have carried out a strict health protocol,” Heru said.
Heru said, all parties who wanted to meet before President Joko Widodo were required to carry out a swab test as one of the Covid-19 transmission prevention protocols. In addition, even though they have done a swab test, on D-day they will again be asked to do a rapid test.
“Even though swab was done, on the day we will do a rapid test,” he added.
The health protocol is also applied to facilities and infrastructure within the Palace, for example by maintaining distance between chairs, and between the guest chair and the President’s chair as far as approximately 2-2.5 meters. On the oval table where the President used to receive guests will also be added in the form of acrylic glass.
“At the oval table that will receive guests invited by Mr. President, we prepare a barrier. The barrier means acrylic glass so that the President even though there is still a limit,” he said.
In addition, Heru explained that the rooms in the Palace are also routinely opened by the windows so that air circulation is smooth and remains fresh. “In addition, continue to use masks, keep washing hands, and keep entering disinfectant tubes so that all of them are guaranteed health protocols at the Palace,” he said.
