Ministry of Finance Receives WTP Opinion
Detiktoday.com – The Ministry of Finance (Ministry of Finance) has prepared Financial Statements (LK) Budget Section (BA) 015 and the State General Treasurer (BUN) as well as the Indonesia Infrastructure Finance Development (IIFD) Financial Reports in 2019. All three financial reports have been submitted to The Supreme Audit Board (BPK) to be audited. This is in accordance with the mandate of Law (Law) Number 17 of 2003 concerning State Finance, Law Number 1 of 2004 concerning State Treasury, and Government Regulation (PP) Number 8 of 2006 concerning Financial Reporting and Performance of Government Agencies.
By considering the appropriateness of Government Accounting Standards (SAP), the adequacy of disclosures in the presentation of financial statements, compliance with laws and regulations and the effectiveness of the Internal Control System, the BPK gave an opinion on LK BUN, LK BA 015, and LK IIFD, namely Fair Without Exception (WTP) . The third Examination Report (LHP) was handed over directly to the Minister of Finance, Sri Mulyani Indrawati, from BPK II Member, Pius Lustrilanang, in Nagara Dana Rakca Hall on Monday (7/27) afternoon.
Obtaining the title of Fair without Exception (WTP) is used as the spirit of the Ministry of Finance to continue to make improvements to the management of state finances.
“The Ministry of Finance will continue to work hard to ensure the implementation of good governance practices. The Ministry of Finance is also committed to completing BPK’s findings and recommendations, and strives to continuously improve the quality of LK BA 015 and LKBUN, “said the Minister.
On the occasion, the Minister of Finance also conveyed the audit support that would be carried out by BPK. The Ministry of Finance will always provide the data and information needed to achieve the common goal of achieving accountable and transparent management of state finances.
Minister of Finance expressed his appreciation for constructive communication, professionalism, and BPK’s independence attitude during the examination process.
