Every visitor from the minister to the people who will meet President Joko Widodo has been confirmed through inspection according to the Covid-19 health protocol.

“The first thing we need to emphasize here is that every official, minister, or community that will meet with the President, we do a very strict health protocol. First is a rapid test, second of course we want to wear masks, third is always to keep our distance. “Even inside the palace, the chairs and the layout of the tables and chairs have been kept a distance and others,” he said.
In addition, the President and the apparatus serving him always carry out routine health tests. According to Heru, today the President is scheduled to carry out medical tests, including swab tests.
“We always take care of the President, and once again today is the schedule for the President to carry out medical tests,” he added.
For devices that interact closely with President Joko Widodo, health checks in the form of swab tests and rapid tests are also conducted regularly. In addition, the change of equipment that serves President Joko Widodo directly was also carried out with a span of 2 months.
“Once a week, for example we, I with the Deputy with the device, of course with the Minister of State Secretary who always meets with the President every day, we are always fast every day. Strict health standards are also applied to the space that will be used for the activities of President Joko Widodo. Heru explained, the room that was used every day by the President to work or meet with the public and officials must have been sterilized, including using ultraviolet.
“For example, the President will work day-to-day at the State Palace, meaning that at 6 we do the sterilization and people are not allowed to enter. I think it’s tight, this is the maximum,” he said.
For the future, Heru also mentioned that the Palace was considering reducing the number of guests who would meet President Joko Widodo.
“Maybe it does not reduce the intensity of his work, but maybe the number of people we reduce. Although now we have, for example, every time we meet with residents right at 3 o’clock in Bogor at 30 people. Maybe we will think we will reduce (become) 20 ( people) with a distance that may be a little further. Something like that, “he said.
