High water level (TMA) in the Bogor City Katulampa Dam on Wednesday night at 19.00 WIB rose to 70 cm or IV standby. After it had been raining in Bogor City since around 15:00 WIB.
Katulampa Weir Guard Officer, Achmad Aliyudin, via his cellphone in Bogor City on Wednesday said the TMA in Katulampa Weir at the beginning of the rain, at a normal position of 20 cm.
According to Aliyudin, the 20 cm position remained stable until 16:00 WIB and then rose to 30 cm, remained normal, at 17:00 WIB.
Two hours later, at 19:00 IWST, the TMA at Katung Benda Dam had gone up to 70 cm or on standby IV, because the rain was still falling despite drizzle.
However, at 20:00 West Indonesia Time, the TMA in Bendung Katulampa began to fall again to 60 cm and still on standby IV.
“After the rain stops and the flow of water flows through the Ciliwung River, the TMA in Katulampa Dam will gradually come down again,” he said.
Previously, on Monday (18/5), TMA in Katulampa Dam rose to 100 cm or standby III at around 16:05 WIB, after the rain fell evenly in the City and Regency of Bogor, especially in the Puncak Bogor area which is the upper reaches of the Ciliwung River
