That was in an effort to break the chain of COVID-19 distribution. Those examined were homecomers with the aim of Cianjur.
“Those who want to go home to Cianjur, do a quick test to find out their health condition. If negative they are still advised to isolate the house for 14 days, if positive there will be actions starting from quarantine or hospital isolation,” Acting Regent of Cianjur, Herman Suherman told reporters Thursday.
He explained that drivers from the red zone aiming outside the city of Cianjur, would not be allowed to cross and be returned to their respective areas of origin because of the continued partial PSBB ban, would be further improved in order to break the distribution chain.
So Cianjur can return to the green zone by further tightening the insulation.
Herman revealed for travelers with the aim of Cianjur, they must carry out house isolation for 14 days not going out to ensure their health.
Whereas those with positive rapid test results are given the choice to undergo quarantine in a place that has been provided, hospital or independent.
“We hope that the people will participate in helping to break the chain of distribution of COVID-19, so that the PSBB runs optimally and Cianjur is free from Corona. Do not crowd and leave the house for non-urgent matters,” he said.
Until the afternoon before officers returned hundreds of vehicles with short-distance destinations such as West Bandung, Bandung, Garut, Tasikmalaya and other areas in West Java because they did not comply with procedures and did not have a permit or assignment letter.
The joint officer also noted that until the afternoon before two hundred people underwent rapid tests and body temperature checks at the COVID-19 Alert Post in the Puncak Pass Area, most of the results were negative, but they were still required to report to local authorities and carry out independent isolation for 14 days.
