Detiktoday.com – It is hoped that the commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which is held on a limited basis in the midst of a pandemic does not diminish the meaning of this warning. The creativity and treats that are usually distributed in every commemoration event will not diminish at all.
This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani at a Press Conference regarding the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which was held at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
“Creativity is not hindered by this condition, it will only be done by other means, technology. We are sure that it will not diminish the meaning and there will still be a sense of excitement about how we commemorate this Indonesian Independence Day. We’ll see on the D-day, creativity is always there, it is still being stored so that it will be a surprise, “he said.
In addition, the committee also held competitions to celebrate independence which would further enliven the atmosphere. With the theme “Cinta Indonesia”, the competition was carried out by beautifying the environment and maintaining health protocols, as well as showing the love of Indonesia by singing together with the song Indonesia Raya, standing upright in a perfect manner when the song Indonesia Raya was sung simultaneously on August 17 at 10.17 WIB.
“With the current condition, it does not mean we flock to compete offline, but through video recordings. So, those who take part in the competition, please make a 3 minute video and can download the guide on the hutri75.kemenparekraf.go.id website,” he said.
“Health protocol remains a requirement when carrying out environmental hygiene and also during ceremonies,” he added.
Registration for the competition with a total prize of Rp1 billion has started from August 1 to August 20. The participants were asked to upload the videos they made to the three social media owned by the participants, be it YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram by writing the hashtag #BangkitUntukIndonesiaMaju. The link from the post on the social media is sent to the registration page. From the results of the judging, 6 winners will be selected from the 25 finalists.
“Later the jury will judge. Please explain when sending the link, given an explanation, about 100 characters about what and the meaning of the concept of the video sent,” said the figure from Bali.
To note, in addition to the competition to celebrate independence, the committee will also hold another competition to guess what traditional clothing President Joko Widodo and the First Lady will wear in the Seconds Commemoration ceremony for the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 2020 on the same page.
