Detiktoday.com – The government through the Ministry of State Secretariat has echoed the nuances of the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia to various local governments and ministries / agencies since July. Entering the month of August, the excitement, nuances and aura of independence also increased with various state activities.
Speaking at the Press Conference regarding the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which was held at the Presidential Office, Jakarta, on Thursday, 6 August 2020, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono explained the series of events commemorating the 75th Indonesian Independence Day.
“Entering August there are several state activities, starting from the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 17th, where later on the 13th there will be an event at the Palace which may give awards for merit. Then as we know there was Paskibraka, later we I remain firm but here it is a little different, “explained Heru.
This year’s Paskibraka inauguration will only be attended by 8 Paskibraka people who have been elected in 2019. As is known, this year’s Paskibraka selection was eliminated as part of the protocol for preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Mr. President will inaugurate our 8 young people, then representing the provincial level will be confirmed via video conference. So that the younger generation can still give their appreciation through Paskibra which will be continued with them on duty on August 17, whether it’s an increase. as well as lowering the flag, “he explained.
After that, on August 14, 2020, President Joko Widodo is scheduled to deliver a state speech at the MPR / DPR. Kasetpres emphasized that the committee together with the MPR / DPR will continue to strictly observe health protocols.
“Maybe it is minimalist. Out of the total space of 100 percent, it must (only be filled) 50 percent. That is a challenge for all of us to be able to face this, work productively but all messages of activities are conveyed,” he added.
For the peak event on August 17, 2020, Kasetpres explained that the committee consisting of various ministries would synergize to provide the nuances of the 75th Indonesian Independence Day, which continued lively. Various programs, both in the form of entertainment and education for the public, will be broadcast on television before the commemoration ceremony for the seconds of the proclamation begins.
“The process is that we will keep raising the flag. We decided that at the Palace to be very minimalist, meaning that the flag raisers from Paskribraka were only 3 people, plus maybe a reserve. The troops that have been there so far, last year were quite full in the Palace field, so (this year) every representative There are only 5 people in that dimension, “he said.
Regarding the invitation, the Kasetpres explained that although they did not physically invite them, the public could participate in virtually any event at the Palace. Likewise, VVIP officials and invitees may attend via video conferencing.
“Last year we invited the people at the Palace to be physically present. This year we prepared 17,845 invitations for all residents who wanted to watch directly from electronic media,” he explained.
The excitement of the 75th Indonesian Independence Day will also be added to the presence of competitions that have been prepared by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and the Ministry of BUMN. Kasetpres hopes that the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic will not become an obstacle to being creative.
“So we create this nuance, it is not an obstacle to this new normal condition, but let us be creative in dealing with all this. We cannot refuse this, but we must face it, of course with our enthusiasm, with existing IT.
