The Issue of Honorary Teachers Must Be Solved Across Ministries

Detiktoday.com – Member of Commission X DPR RI Andreas Hugo Pareira said the issue of education related to honorary teachers has become a national problem. The government has yet to offer a solution to the DPR RI. Therefore, Andreas asked several ministries to sit together so that this problem could be resolved immediately.

“We ask that the cross ministries between the Ministry of Education and Culture, Kemenpan RB, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Finance work together as soon as possible to solve this problem. So that in the future we will no longer have honorary employees who live with very minimal and more compassionate salary standards,” said Andreas Kuningan Regent’s Office, West Java, Thursday (8/10/2020).

This politician from the PDI-P faction emphasized that the issue of data collection on the number of honorary staff, especially in the Ministry of Education and Culture, must be clear. This issue is a matter of coordination because Kemenpan RB is the leading sector. Coordination between state institutions must be more intensive so that data problems can be resolved, so that the recruitment of non-PNS personnel to become PNS or PPPK will become clear.

This NTT I electoral council member also added that the availability of funds from the Ministry of Finance needs to be taken into account. “I think this is also important to become a platform for joint work across ministries and institutions to solve the problem of honorary staff,” he concluded.
