President Inaugurates 881 Virtual Civil Servants Graduates of IPDN 2020 in a Virtual

Detiktoday.com – President Joko Widodo inaugurated young civil service candidates who graduated from the XXVII Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN) in 2020 virtually from the Bogor Presidential Palace, West Java, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020. A total of 881 young civil servants consisted of 176 graduates of the undergraduate program (S-1) Government Science and 705 graduates of the four (D-IV) Government Science diploma program.

“By giving thanks to the presence of God Almighty, for His grace and grace, today, Wednesday, July, 2020, I am the President of the Republic of Indonesia on behalf of the government of the Republic of Indonesia inaugurating the brothers as young civil servants who graduated from the Institute The XXVII Class of Domestic Government in 2020. I believe that the brothers can carry out their duties to the best of their abilities, “said President Jokowi.

In his mandate, the President congratulated all the young civil servants he had just installed. He understood that the struggle of the civil service, ranging from filters in the regions, pastors on campus, to be inaugurated today is not easy.

“On this happy occasion, on behalf of the person, on behalf of the people, on behalf of the nation and state I congratulate you on your appointment as Young Civil Servants. Congratulations on getting a new status with all the rights and obligations attached to it,” he said.

According to the President, nationality and Indonesia have been firmly planted in every civil service. Not only that, the commitment of the civil service to serve the community is also not in doubt.

“But commitment alone is not enough, as Young Civil Service you must be the driver of innovation, the motor of bureaucratic reform, the motor of developing new ways of working, the driving force of government,” the President said.

Present directly at the Bogor Palace in the inauguration this time were four representatives of civil service candidates representing four religions as well as saying the civil service pledge. They are Harsen Nursa Prabawa as representatives of the Islamic religion, Aris Patrichius Waisimon as representatives of the Protestant Christians, Steffani Aurelia Adhista Wagiu as representatives of the Catholic religion, and I Gusti Ayu Nindya Astari as representatives of the Hindu religion.

In addition, the civil service candidates who were present directly at the Palace were those who won the best graduate titles, respectively Novawan Aditya Ristara as the recipient of the Kartika Pradnya Utama award, and Ainun Ma’rifah as the recipient of the Kartika Astha Brata award. The six civil service candidates who attended immediately passed a number of Covid-19 preventive health protocols, including conducting a previous swab test.

Meanwhile, most of the civil service candidates followed the procession through a video conference at the Cilandak Jakarta IPDN Campus and Jatinangor IPDN Campus as part of compliance with health protocols in the midst of a pandemic.

Also attending the event were a limited number of invitations including, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md., Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung.
