PSBB Proportional Bodebek Extended To 16 August 2020
Detiktoday.com – Enforcement of Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) proportionally in the Bodebek area (City of Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, and Bekasi) was extended until August 16, 2020. PSBB proportionally the Bodebek area itself ended on August 1, 2020.
This was stated in the Decree of the Governor (Kepgub) of West Java Number: 443 / Kep.419-Hukham / 2020 concerning the Third Extension of PSBB Application Proportionally in the Bodebek Region. The decree was signed by West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil on Thursday (7/30/20).
West Java COVID-19 Task Force Accelerating Task Force Daud Achmad said, in the Kepgub, the regional head of the Bodebek region could apply the PSBB proportionally according to the level of regional vigilance.
“The implementation of PSBB is proportionally adjusted to regional vigilance at the sub-district, village and kelurahan levels in the form of Micro-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBM),” Daud said, Friday (7/31/20).
Daud urged Bodebek residents to obey all PSBB rules and regulations in a proportional manner, and consistently apply health protocols. Starting from wearing a mask, keep a distance, to apply Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS).
“The key to PSBB success proportionally in the Bodebek area is public discipline in complying with all regulations and implementing health protocols. That way, the chain of transmission of COVID-19 can be broken,” he said.
Daud said, the decision to prolong the PSBB proportionally to the Bodebek area was in line with the policy of the DKI Jakarta government to extend the transition PSBB to 13 August 2020. The decision was also based on various epidemiological studies.
In addition, said Daud, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil issued Kepgub Number: 443 / Kep.420-Hukham / 2020 concerning the Extension of the Adoption of New Customs Adaptation (AKB) outside the Bodebek area until 29 August 2020. The first AKB period itself ended on July 31 2020
In order for the AKB to run optimally, Daud asked regional heads in 22 regencies / cities that enforced IMR to coordinate with the TNI / Polri in securing and supervising IMR implementation.
“The public must comply with all IMR requirements. Then, the community must consistently apply health protocols to prevent transmission of COVID-19,” Daud said.
