The Oath of the Members of the LPS Board of Commissioners
Detiktoday.com – President Joko Widodo witnessed the swearing in of the members of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the State Palace, Jakarta.
The candidates for members of the LPS Board of Commissioners who take the oath before the President are:
- Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, as a member of the Board of Commissioners concurrently as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the LPS;
- Didik Madiyono, as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the LPS;
- Luky Alfirman, as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the LPS; and
- Destry Damayanti, as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the LPS.
The four of them were appointed based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 58 / M of 2020 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation which was read by the Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat Setya Utama at the event.
For your information, the swearing-in ceremony was held by implementing strict health protocols in which prospective members of the LPS Board of Commissioners and limited invited guests who attended first undergo medical examinations according to the applicable protocol.
Also attending the event were Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, Governor of Bank Indonesia Perry Warjiyo, and Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners Wimboh Santoso.
