Supardi and Victor Igbonefo underwent a PCR swab test

Detiktoday.com – Supardi and Victor Igbonefo underwent the PCR Swab test on Thursday (6/8/2020), at the Regional Health Laboratory (Labkesda) of West Java. Both are players who underwent a follow-up test after being absent from the two batches of Persib player tests which took place on July 3 and July 10.

Supardi and Victor’s test results will be known in the next few days. Currently only Zulham Zamrun – a Persib player – has yet to undergo a PCR Swab test to find out whether he is positive or negative for Corona. The test is a step by the Persib team to meet standard health protocols ahead of carrying out training.

“This morning Supardi and Victor (Igbonefo) swab test at Labkes. The result is not yet, maybe tomorrow or the day after. There is one player left, Zulham who has not yet taken the swab test, ”explained team doctor, Rafi Ghani.

Previously all players who had undergone the test tested negative. Foreign legions or players who are abroad – as previously reported – will not undergo the test because they already have a Corona-free certificate from the results of the tests they carried out before flying to Indonesia.

Persib scheduled the first training after the end of the competition due to the Covid-19 pandemic on Monday (10/8/2020) at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA). The League 1 competition is certain to continue in October with a new atmosphere where matches are held without spectators.
