The West Java Regional Police was evaluated by the National Police as the best regional police category to respond to COVID-19. We hope that West Java KPU is expected to be the best in the pandemic, must be the most responsive. the most scientific, “said Kang Emil.
Kang Emil suggested to the West Java KPU to utilize technology in a democratic party in West Java, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also asked the West Java KPU to always implement health protocols.
West Java KPU Chairman Rifqi Alimubarok said, based on the results of the House of Representatives Commission II work meeting, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Election Commission (KPU), the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), and the Election Organizer Honorary Council (DKPP), the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) 2020 will start on June 15, 2020.
“With the proviso that all elections must be carried out in accordance with health protocols, coordinate with the COVID-19 Task Force, and remain guided by democratic principles,” Rifqi said.
According to Rifqi, at present, his party and the KPU in the regency or city in West Java are intensifying the continuous updating of voter data. The simultaneous local elections in West Java will take place in eight districts or cities, Bandung Regency, Cianjur Regency, Sukabumi Regency, Karawang Regency, Indramayu Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Pangandaran Regency, and Depok City.
