The President Will Review Production Facilities and Implementation of Covid-19 Vaccine Clinical Trials
Detiktoday.com – President Joko Widodo will conduct a series of working visits in Bandung City, West Java Province, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. The President and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, using the Indonesian Presidential Aircraft-1 at around 09.00 WIB.
Upon arrival at Husein Sastranegara Air Force Base, Bandung City, the President and his limited entourage will go directly to the Covid-19 Handling and Control Post at the Kodam III / Siliwangi headquarters. At this location, the President will provide a number of directions via video conference for the integrated handling of Covid-19 in West Java Province.
During this visit, the Head of State is scheduled to go to PT Bio Farma, Bandung City, to inspect the Covid-19 vaccine production facility.
In addition, President Joko Widodo will also review the implementation of the third stage clinical trial of the Covid-19 vaccine at the Eyckman Building which is guided by the Clinical Trial Research Team from the Faculty of Medicine, Padjajaran University.
In the afternoon, the President is planned to return to Jakarta immediately.
Accompanying the President on the flight to the city of Bandung included Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Military Secretary Maj. Gen. Suharyanto, Commander of Paspampres Maj. Gen. TNI Maruli Simanjuntak, and Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin .
