In addition to investment, said Kang Emil, West Java continues to innovate with self-sufficiency in medical devices (medical devices) handling COVID-19. Starting from the rapid test tool to the ventilator. That way, West Java can reduce the import of medical equipment.
“We can be a provider of Indonesian products, and also exporters to the world, such as PT Pindad can make a ventilator, one day we can export rapid tests made by Unpad, PCR made by Biofarma, and so on,” he said.
According to Kang Emil, West Java is predicted to be the best health center in Indonesia. Then, West Java suggested to intensely develop technology. “Because people who are fast with technology will be the winners,” he said.
West Java continues to innovate in digitalization. One of them is developing Digital Village. This can boost the economy of West Java, especially in rural areas.
